Youth Bridge Walk/Retreat

Sunday, September 5 through Monday, September 6

for all youth of the church (and their friends) who will be in grades six through twelve in the fall. 

A tentative schedule ~

Sunday, September 5

Leaving our church after Sunday worship

Arriving in St. Ignace.  Possible afternoon event like Fort Michilimackinaw

Pizza and pop.

Attending a local event in either St. Ignace or Mackinaw City

Devotions and prayer

Monday, September 6 

Breakfast (cereal, milk, bananas, etc.)

Bridge Walk in morning.

Lunch (probably fast food)

Drive home, arriving in late afternoon

We will probably stay at the United Methodist Church in St. Ignace.

An additional letter with more detailed information, permission slips, medical information forms, etc. will be sent to those who have shown an interest.

We will be welcoming a new youth leader, Nichole Kolnowski, who will be working alongside Alice Parris, and perhaps another adult.  We hope this will be the kickoff event for more fun youth activities this fall. 

Please return the enclosed postcards ASAP.  We need to know roughly how many will be able to attend so we can continue our planning.
